Already day 3 of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Amsterdam.
The first show of this day is MAYN with the collection for S/S 2016 'FLOW'.

MAYN is an Amsterdam based menswear brand created with an aim to motivate the originators and give them one extra layer of confidence to rethink and contribute something new to our surroundings.
The collection 'FLOW' is inspired by Yuanyang Rice Terraces. MAYN used the continuous curve and otoshiana technique cuts and details.

What we saw on the catwalk were the basic colours black, white and dark-navy. I really like the shapes of the clothes, a masculine collection that I would wear for sure. What also was nice to see is the way of using the fabrics in different colours. You could see the quality of the clothes, refreshing shapes and textures. But still, I have the feeling that I saw this already a lot of times. A little safe and not really new. A good collection of good quality, but why are we so safe in this fashion world?
