And the last show from AFW, show 8.
Camiel Fortgens with his collection for A/W 15-16, called: Known.

Flat, odd-looking yet very recognizable pieces redefining the boundaries of menswear. A collection that is puzzling with elements of the things we wear every day. Challenging the contemporary “cut copy paste” culture and industry. Searching for the known. The known that can give grip in our cut-copy-pasted context. Making a ‘still’ in time, reflecting on menswear in general. Keeping in mind and overviewing the history of menswear. A clothing collection based on the archetypal silhouette and fabric off former menswear.

I think, this collection was really great. What I liked was the "cut copy paste" idea of menswear. A good translation of the society were we live in. The basics wear translated to that world of literal copy and paste. A basic good jeans, but not with a perfect fit, glued together. I liked the pure translation, not that wearable. Definitely a statement.
Ooh, and for me as a coat lover, I would love to wear some of them!
