The last week, the last Sunday dinners of this year.
As you can see, there are two dinners. All those Christmas food, getting me fat, haha.
But ooooh, so delicious.
The first, with the gray tablecloth, is at my aunt her place. We ate with the two families a great dinner.
So, who made it:
The starter and the dessert made my cousin, the main course made my little brother and daddy.
What we had:
The starter was a carpaccio. After that, we had the famous Antillian ham with some green beans and potatoes. A ice cream with fresh fruit was waiting. Closed with a coffee and some sweet liqueur.
The second dinner, with the red tablecloth, was with my friends from high school. We don't see each other that often, but when we meet up, it's wonderful.
Who made what:
Sharon and Denise made the starters, Marieke and Pascalle made the main course and Suzanne made the dessert. (Sabine and I brought the wine!)
What we had:
The starters were some tomatoes/mozzarella/pesto skewers, roast beef with salad, goat cheese quiche and a mushroom soup. Then we had a chicken with boursin and dried tomatoes, wrapped in puff pastry. Combined with cheese and potatoes and green beans. The dessert was a lovely apple pie with ice cream and whipped cream.
